The famous pop icon Harry styles has come up with a range of beauty products from nail polish to skin products, through his first beauty brand. All the products in the vegetarian star’s new beauty business will be certified cruelty free and vegan.
Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish and others are already competing in this market of vegan and cruelty free beauty products. Eilish announced her first-ever fragrance would avoid any animal testing in its development and contains no animal-based ingredients. Grande, with a fully vegan recipe that guaranteed a cruelty-free production process, debuted her first perfume this summer.
The new brand called pleasing will initially feature four nail polishes, including Inky Pearl, Pearly Tops, Perfect Pearl, and Granny’s Pink Pearl, and two serums including the Pearlescent Illuminating Serum and Pleasing Pen.
The first product will make its debut on November 29 at 8 am PST on a pre-sale launch, closely followed by the open public sale at 10 am PST.
Styles in a press release said, “When we decided Pleasing would make beauty products I wanted to be sure they were something I would use. I didn’t want to make products to mask people, I wanted to highlight them and make them feel beautiful,”. Styles said in a press release. “The Pleasing Pen is great because if you’re feeling a little less than lovely you can refresh yourself anywhere. The lip oil dries matte in about a minute, perfect to give yourself a mini massage with the eye serum.”
The brand has a FAQ page that ensures all its ingredients are vegan and cruelty free. The brand claims that since 2013, its manufacturer has been certified as an animal cruelty-free company, assuring consumers that all ingredients are ethically sourced and produced.
Styles’ new brand intends to present an innovative, free from stereotypes gender-neutral beauty selection, to a market that is increasingly environmentally conscious. Styles expects that his brand can encourage a beauty brand that situates itself as gender-neutral in an extensively divisive market.
The pleasing polishes with some great aromas will be available for $20 for a single bottle and when packed together in a set that features all four varieties costs $65. The Pleasing Pen has a two-sided skincare product that possesses a cooling steel roller as well.
